Porcelain white bricks shining that vis-a-vis the tower were what made it so unforgettable. From day, the bricks was shining in the sun, and the night, they were lit by perhaps as much as 140 lanterns suspended around l' outside of the pagoda. With worked in the porcelain panels were coloured sandstone squares of green, yellow, white and brown glazes forming images d' animals, of landscapes, flowers and bamboos.
