This is the large temple d' Abou Simbel, dedicated to the glory of the Pharaon Ramsès II. Although the temple is officially dedicated to the triad Amon-Re, Ptah and Ra-Harakhté, its frontage is dominated by four gigantic statues of the large Pharaon himself.
