This is the large temple d' Abou Simbel, dedicated to the glory of the Pharaon Ramsès II. Although the temple is officially dedicated to the triad Amon-Re, Ptah and Ra-Harakhté, its frontage is dominated by four gigantic statues of the large Pharaon himself. Angkor Vat, l' one of the most beautiful historic sites and mysterious in the world. Located at more than 192 miles at the North-West of the Kampuchean capital Phnom Penh, Angkor “was protected” by tourism, and the habits and the cultures of the populations which live n' there; did not change much.
