The rise of the 600 miles of the Pacific with west of Ecuador are arid islands whose name, for obvious reasons, is a Spanish word for the tortoises. Indeed, the Galapagos Islands are famous for the tortoises weighing of the hundreds of books. Many people do not know, however, is that the attractive creatures also live in an underwater kingdom with the broad one. Describing contrast between the islands and their spoils in a submarine of the book 1924, Galapagos: World' S End, William Beebe wrote: " l' host of sally-lightfoots [crabs of tide] were the most brilliant points of color above of l' water in the islands, putting to make shame with the dull colours dull of the terrestrial organizations and referring to the glory of the animal life coloured under sea surface”...
