These Renaissance 9 portraits are parts of photograph project called “1503″ created by Swiss Italian photographer Christian Tagliavini. Taking threteen months to complete this scheme was stimulated by the masters of the Renaissance, notably Agnolo di Cosimo who was born in the same year as the heading. All characters are portrayed in arresting handcrafted clothing completed by Tagliavini himself. From opening to conclusion Tagliavini’s work is a labor of love. He admits that he enjoys the process as much as the resulting take pictures of. Amazing!
