Macro photography is close-up photography, typically of very tiny subjects. Classically a macro photography is one in which the size of the subject on the negative is greater than life size. Photography can serve as a nice source of inspiration. The word “macro” is used very insecurely and tends to mean any photographic situation where you get close to the theme. Real macro photography is where you are working around 1:1 ratio and closer thereby giving an image on film that is equal in size or larger than the subject being photographed. Macro photography is close-up photography. There are many ways to attack macro photography and some are much more luxurious than others. Here in this showcase, we present a stunning collection of macro photography taken by Oleg Serkiz. Have a Look!
